Your
Turn
We are about done for now, this
planet turning as it does. Soon it will stop spinning and someone
will step in and replace it. Like a light bulb, they will remove it
from its socket in the astral mechanics of the Universe and plug in
another ball with forty or fifty million people aboard for a start.
Soon they will begin milling
about, bumping into each other, looking for answers. Some may get
mad. Others may feel hurt. Many will wonder: “Why are we here?”
And we’ll shout at them from the shelf where we’ve been set
aside: “Get it together! Check out your heart! Use all your
feelings! Trust your intuition! Love everybody, especially yourself!
And don’t forget to pray!”
They may not hear right away, but
eventually they will and we’ll smile knowing they are learning
their lessons. Then we will smile and wonder: “Who is smiling at us
right now?”
